SMS messaging terms

These terms cover the text messages Peachtree Bikes sends to its customers.

The program

Peachtree Bikes texts customers about their bikes: service reminders based on what you bought and when it was last serviced, updates on work in progress, replies to questions you text us, and occasional shop news. Messages come from the shop you deal with, and each one says which shop it is from.

Joining

You give us your mobile number in the shop: at the counter when you buy a bike or book work, and at checkout, where you tick a box agreeing to be contacted. We never buy, rent or import phone numbers from anyone else.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies and depends on your own service history. Most customers receive no more than a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's charges are between you and your carrier.

Stopping the messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop all further messages. You will receive one confirmation, and nothing after that. Reply START to begin again. Reply HELP for help, or call the shop on (404) 254-4116.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your handset, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.

Privacy

How we handle your number is set out in our privacy policy. No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in consent is never shared with anyone.
